“You know they used to make leisure suits out of this fabric?”
George Costanza was a Renaissance man. Jason Alexander’s iconic neurotic Seinfeld character was a marine biologist, television show writer, and most importantly, assistant to the traveling secretary for the New York Yankees, a job he took very seriously in sport, sleep, and fashion.
Alexander is back with a wink and nod to his fictional history with the Bronx Bombers, taking center stage in a new campaign for the Kith x New York Yankees collaboration. Modeling a denim button-up, New Era hats, a velour tracksuit, a puffer, letterman jackets, and leather Avirex coats for the cold-weather collection, Alexander cleans up nicely compared to Constanza’s slobby fashion. The collection is completed with Alexander rocking two pairs of Clarks x Kith Sunderland shoes embossed with NY logos on the toe.
On the sneaker side of things, Kith has been focused on endless adidas collaborations and an Asics collab for the upcoming Chicago store opening, but on the fashion side of things, Ronnie Fieg and team are always pulling out new licensed collabs, and the Yankees partnership features everything from gloves and balls to neon lights and crystal-studded bats. Does Costanza’s connection make this collection a must cop for you, or are you still holding out hopes for the Mets' postseason dreams?
The Kith x New York Yankees collection will be released September 26, 2025 through Kith’s global retail shops in-store and online. To keep up on all the latest Kith collab drops and find out next time Jason Alexander brings back Costanza for a modeling gig, download the Sole Retriever mobile app
