Ja Morant’s war against sneaker leakers rages on. The new Portland Trail Blazers guard vowed to fight early leaks of his signature shoes over a year back, and in that time, he’s taken charge in providing first-looks at (most) new Nike Ja colorways. While we wait on the launch of his new Nike Twelve Time takedown sneaker, and are still awaiting release info for the six-pack of Ja 4s he leaked two weeks back, Morant just teased the Ja 4 joining the Nike By You program.
Ja 4 Nike By You Leak
On Ja’s Instagram story, he posted a photo of four different Nike Ja 4s on the basketball court, each coming in a wild color palette. Two pairs are mismatched with inverted color schemes, while another one gets Joker vibes with its purple and green colorway. Finally, a fourth pair is seen with a graphic pattern atop the white base and accenting hits of teal and gold.
If you’re unfamiliar, Nike By You is Nike’s customization program that allows you to create your own colorway on select sneakers. It replaced the NIKEiD program, but it’s the same, where certain panels are able to be changed to your liking, and customizable design details can be added, like text or numbers. Ja Morant’s Nike Ja 3 entered the Nike By You program shortly after its launch, and people went crazy designing their own versions of the hit silhouette. We’d imagine the same response will come once the Ja 4 is available to customize.
When Will the Nike Ja 4 Be on Nike By You?
