Early leaks and unauthorized photos are an established part of the sneaker game, but Ja Morant isn’t allowing the leakers to win. During the Nike Ja 2’s lifecycle, early images of the Kool-Aid collab made their way online, and from that moment on, Ja declared war on leaks. Morant has since been (mostly) ahead of early leakers, taking to his social media to share upcoming colorways from his signature sneaker line. Now, just a day after the retail debut of the Ja 4 in the Nightmare colorway, Morant has again teased us with new colors of the Ja 4.
Ja’s New Nike Ja 4 Colorways
In the group shot, we can see six different colorways of the sneaker, one of which we previously saw thanks to some early leakers. They may have won the battle with posting the Radar colorway early, but Morant also revealed a tan and pink colorway that is a clear reference to the Ja-raffee colorways from his other signature sneakers. There’s also an icy white pair with metallic accents, a hot pink gradient colorway, a neon green, and finally a purple gradient with red accents.
The Ja 4 has been well received so far, and in all honesty, it’s a great follow-up to the mega-hit that was the Nike Ja 3. Aside from the technical upgrades, the silhouette’s new one-piece upper is allowing for some intricate graphic patterns and gradients that, while they would have worked on the Ja 3, look much better here. Also, these colorways are just the beginning of an onslaught of Ja 4s that will hit shelves over the next 12 months, so be on the lookout for more.
When will the New Ja 4s Release?
We can expect the Nike Ja 4s pictured here to release in the latter half of 2026 and the early part of 2027. Retail for the sneaker is typically $130, but some special versions will be priced a bit higher.
