Hidden NY, initially gaining fame as an Instagram mood board, has become a significant player in streetwear fashion. After venturing into footwear collaborations, most recently teasing an Asics collab on the Gel-NYC, Hidden NY is now unveiling a unique project with the Japanese footwear label’s GT-2160.
This collaboration is a departure from the conventional partnership approach, combining the talents of Hidden NY and JW Customs to hand-customize each pair of the Asics GT-2160. A stunning display of gradient blues and greens is present across the overlays, with each pair boasting a distinctive look due to the handcrafted nature of the customization. The attention to detail is evident, with a subtle "H" logo adorning the left shoe and Hidden NY's branding elegantly placed on the lateral mudguard. A custom-made pine green flag label on the heel adds a refined touch to the design. The sneaker's base maintains a classic feel with its white mesh, while the Gel-cushioned midsole is dyed to complement the unique colorway.
