From Down Under to the Big Apple, John Bouquet’s HAL Studios has had its hands in some of the industry’s most unique sneaker partnerships. Over the years, HAL Studios has partnered with Asics to redesign the Gel-1130 and Gel-Kayano 20, but this is the first time the brand has had a hand in debuting an all-new silhouette. The sequel to the popular Asics Gel-NYC features a similar construction, with a more streamlined look than the OG and oval-shaped paneling on the heel.
The HAL Studios x Asics Gel-NYC 2.0 Architecture of Everyday Life Pack will be released January 15, 2026 via select retailers overseas. There's no confirmed date from HAL Studios or Asics yet, but we'll keep you updated via the Sole Retriever mobile app once more info is available.
