FTP has been at the heart of the modern streetwear discussion for over a decade, mixing streetwear and skate energy with a distinctly Los Angeles ethos. You can see, then, why the brand is a perfect collaborative fit for Vans. After debuting a partnership last year, the two SoCal originals are back with a new pair of camo Sk8-His.
You Can’t See Me
The FTP x Vans Sk8-Hi was posted out of the blue this week by FTP founder Zac Clark on the social media site formerly known as Twitter. Seen in just one in-hand image, the pair is covered in tan and brown Realtree hunting camo on the side panels, with black suede on the toe, lace panel, tongue, and midsole.
The midsole adds repeating “Hiding in Plain Sight” branding embossed all the way around, with black leather on the Vans logo and an FTP tag hanging off the heel. More FTP co-branding is added by way of removable patches, with black FTP logos, black Vans logos, and an upside-down FTP flag patch.
