In the world of Nike and Jordan collabs, Hiroshi Fujiwara and the squad at fragment design are never afraid to share the spotlight. After teaming up with Travis Scott for a Cactus Jack Air Jordan 1 Low and linking with Devin Booker for a Book 2 colorway, the Japanese streetwear legends are back with another triple collab, this time alongside sneaker boutique godfathers Union LA.
The fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Sport Royal first popped up last summer when Fujiwara was seen wearing the pair. In the months since, we’ve seen a couple of quick previews of this pair and the other two in the collection, a White Black and a Chicago Royal colorway, but nothing compares to the detailed in-hand photos posted this week by Instagram user @koala_hsh.

In the new photos, it’s clear just how premium the leather is on the black toe and side panels and blue toebox, heel, and Swoosh. On the ankle, the creamy suede is thick and hairy, with matching premium leather on the lace wing lying on top of it. A fragment lightning bolt logo is stamped into the lateral side heel, and a UN/LA tag hangs from the side panel for clear co-branding. Like other fragment collabs, a product code is printed on the midsole, and following past Union collabs, the high-top ankle and top half of the tongue add white zig-zag stitching.
The fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Sport Royal will release Spring 2026, though exactly how is a mystery. The White Black pair is rumored to be a Japanese exclusive, while the Chicago Royal is expected to get a wide release via Nike and retailers. We’ll have to wait and see what lies in store for this Sport Royal colorway. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $205.
