No, You Can’t Have a Pair of these Red Snakeskin Fragment x Nike Book 1s
Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara took to Instagram this week to flex on all of us, showing off a white Fragment x Nike Book 1 with red snakeskin accents, making sure to include a “1 of 2” label printed next to the inside tag. It doesn’t get more exclusive than this. Well, I guess if there were only one pair in existence.
Clearly these aren’t going to be a general or even limited release, with one pair in Fujiwara’s living room and the other sitting at Devin Booker’s house, but that won’t stop us from staring. The white leather Book 1 has a number of classic Fragment Design motifs in the perforated Swoosh and heel logo, but the red snakeskin is also a clear callback to the last time Fujiwara and Booker linked on a shoe last year, a friends and family Book 1 covered in python with a Fragment blue Swoosh.
The Book 1 has taken on a number of classic Nike colorways this year, from Safari blocking to Neon vibes, but if you’re looking for a Fragment collab, you’ll have to look from afar.
