Converse is in a confusing place. No, we don’t mean Boston and its insane traffic layout. The legacy brand responsible for the modern sneaker has been the subject of recent rumors about a split from its spot underneath the Nike umbrella, and with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander departing the brand for The Swoosh and the Star all but scrapping its skate program, Converse’s long-term future is still uncertain.
Fragments of Sneaker History
In the meantime, though, Converse is still churning out the classics and working with Nike collaborators. For its latest collection of canvas collabs, Converse is teaming up with Hiroshi Fujiwara and fragment design for a pack of All-Star Ox colorways, one in two bright monochrome colors and the other a two-tone black-and-white mix.

The blue and pink colorways bring white contrast on the laces and midsole, while the white pair switches to black for the laces but stays true to the rest of the pack with a white midsole.
