If you’ve spent any time watching skate videos over the past few decades, you’ve likely heard the nickname Froston or Frosty. Eric Koston’s icy nickname has been featured on board graphics and thrown around in plenty of footage from the Crailtap camp. With Koston’s colorway of the new Nike SB Air Max 95 coming soon, Frost Man is bringing the nickname front and center, and hinting at a slushee-themed early release this weekend at ComplexCon.

Announced in a totally left-field partnership with Interscope Records, Koston is setting up Frosties Skateshop at ComplexCon in Las Vegas to serve up exclusive offerings. Koston hasn’t confirmed if the SB Air Max 95 will be on the menu, but in the commercial for the convention booth experience, the camera takes suspiciously long shots of the blue and gold colorway walking in and out of a convenience store.

The second pair of the Nike SB Air Max 95 remix, Koston’s colorway features navy blue and grey suede, white mesh, and yellow accents, with Nike written in Thai on the toe as a shoutout to Koston’s background. The debut Cactus Flower colorway of the model was well-received, but rolled out with some controversy when fellow early 00s skate star Stevie Williams stirred up beef with Koston after feeling slighted that he was left out of the campaign.

Koston has never released any music, so we’re not quite sure what the Interscope connection is, but maybe we’ll get a surprise Stevie Williams diss track along with the early Air Max drop. We’ll be on the ground at ComplexCon all weekend and will let you know via the Sole Retriever mobile app when and where releases are taking place, including this potential Eric Koston SB Air Max 95.
