Dragon Ball Z’s Most Notorious Villains, Frieza and Cell, Get Their Own Crocs Classic Clogs

Dragon Ball Z x Crocs Classic Clog Villains Pack

Crocs is no stranger to working with popular IPs and franchises, as the Colorado-based clog makers have a new collaboration launching on what seems like a daily basis. Following up on the brand’s work with Dragon Ball Z, which brought to life the two main protagonists, Vegeta and Goku, their two archenemies, Frieza and Cell, now have their own Crocs Classic Clog colorways.

Starting with the frost demon, Frieza’s appearance is directly translated onto the upper as the Classic Clog’s Croslite toe is given a light green makeover with purple accents. Shiny purple hits land on the forefoot strap, representing his purple head, while we see more of this shade emerge on the buttons holding the sports mode strap in place and on the sidewall of the sole unit. Jibbitz charms also showcase Frieza in his first and final forms, his dome-shaped spaceship, Japanese Katakana text spelling his name, and him in his hover pod.

The same design motifs are applied to Cell as the Croslite foam is given a spotted green appearance akin to Cell’s armor. His helmet is represented via the shiny navy forefoot overlay, with the hue extending onto the sports mode strap. Other details include Dragon Ball Z logos on the spine of the sports mode strap (found on both pairs), Jibbitz charms for Cell, including his final Perfect Cell form, logos for the Red Ribbon Army, Cell in his first and second forms, and, like the Frieza pair, Japanese text spelling his name.

The Dragon Ball Z x Crocs Classic Clog Villains Collection will release on May 28, 2025, through Crocs, Foot Locker, and Champs online and in-store. Select Foot Locker stores, including locations in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, and LA, will host exclusive sticker giveaways with the purchase of the collection. The brand's 34th Street location in NYC will host a Dragon Ball Z Challenge starting on May 28, where attendees can win a free pair.
