DJ Khaled Took J. Balvin’s New Air Jordan 4s Straight off the Reggaeton Star’s Feet

Another one.

DJ Khaled’s online presence has diminished significantly since his viral heyday, getting stuck at sea on jet skis, coining new catchphrases like a modern Shakespeare, and even his late era golf obsession, but like it or not, he’s still got the juice at Jordan.

Days after fellow Jordan-sponsored recording artist J. Balvin showed up at a homecoming concert in Colombia, debuting a never-before-seen pair of collab Jordan 4s, Khaled popped up on Instagram in an ill-fitting grey suit with his flat-front pants falling over the same pair of multi-colored 4s.

“My brother J. Balvin just flew in from Colombia,” Khaled tells the camera. “He flew all the way down, and he gave me the shoes off his feet. Nobody has these, not even J. Balvin.” Balvin then confirmed the boast in the comments, adding, “Facts, you the only one who has them.”

The Viotech-esque Jordan 4s are covered in shades of purple, pink, green, and blue, with golden yellow laces, and J. Balvin’s smiley face logo added to the heel. So far, it looks like the Brotherhood of the Travelling 4s currently in Khaled’s possession is the only one in existence, but we’ll keep you posted on the Sole Retriever mobile app as soon as we learn more about the inspiration behind the colorway and any upcoming release.
