Dios and Furious: Houston’s Dios Channels Car Culture on New adidas Megaride Collab

The Three Stripes isn’t stopping at the Superstar. After adidas brought a new era of streetwear brands into the footwear collab space with Shell Toe colorways last year, the brand is pushing past the lifestyle icon into new pairs with Hellstar, Sp5der, and now, Dios.

Megaride on Your Ride

The Dios x adidas Megaride arrived in a perfect preview trailer that brings back memories of the early Fast and the Furious installments and shouts out Texas’ legendary car culture. Starting with a glowing garage lit up against the Houston night, the Dios campaign carries the camera through a line of exotic whips before revealing a clean black and silver Megaride colorway sitting on a table like an engine being tuned up.

The can clearly see a blacked-out leather upper with metallic silver popping on the Megaride cushion in the heel. The lace panel features an embossed graphic texture with a silver zipper running down the middle of the tongue panel, with more silver on the jewelry on the zipper pull. More silver is added to co-branding on the toe to round out the collab.
