Dime and Asics Revive Collab Partnership with Gel-SD LYTE Two-Pack

In a fashion industry full of skateboard influence, only a few select brands are able to cross over from legit skate entity to beloved mainstream staple. Along with Supreme, Palace, and Huf, Dime is close to the top of the skatewear pyramid, bringing Montreal’s understated class to skaters and fashion heads everywhere.

Dropping Dimes

On the sneaker side of things, Dime has been a beloved collaborator at Vans, and has teamed up with Reebok, New Balance, adidas, DC, Merrell, and more, touching every corner of the footwear market. After linking with Asics a couple of years back for a creamy off white GT-2160 runner with a pale blue and purple gradient upper and Gel-Quantum 360 VIII pairs, the two brands are back together for a two-pack of Gel-SD LYTE.

Seen in just one overhead preview posted to the Dime Instagram page, the Gel-SD LYTE collabs both feature metallic silver structures, with a silvery white gradient on one pair and a dark black and orange gradient on the other. Both pairs feature Dime logos on the tongue and a brown houndstooth pattern on the insoles. Given the preview, there is a wild chance the collab is a split colorway, but knowing past Dime collabs, we would put strong money on it being a two-colorway two-pack. Beyond the shoes, the IG post previews a collab tracksuit worn by skater Gabriel Galipeau.
