Devin Booker Gives Michigan State Its Own Book 2 PE Ahead of March Madness

The first third of the year is the best time to be a basketball fan. NBA All-Star leads right into March Madness, which then gives way to the NBA Playoffs. A great stretch of hoops that will have you busy from February to June. We’re fast approaching the start of the NCAA tournament, and before seeding can be finalized, Michigan State has gone ahead and flexed its latest Nike Basketball player-exclusive, a Nike Book 2 PE.
Michigan State’s Nike Book 2 PE takes after the model’s Air Zoom Spiridon colorway, applying the school’s forest green and white color palette to the remixed sneaker. The textile mudguard is done in green, while the sandwich mesh base is rendered in stark white hues. More contrasting green details are found on the nylon lace loops, the sockliner, and outlining the metallic silver Swoosh. Finishing the sneaker is a caricature of Sparty, the school’s mascot, found on the lateral heel.
Although Devin Booker attended the University of Kentucky and consistently shows love to the program, other Nike schools are also blessed with his signature sneaker in special colorways. Michigan State stands out as an outlier from other schools thanks to Booker hailing from the Great Lake State. Before this Book 2 PE, the school had its own Nike Book 1 colorway primarily in green hues.
The Nike Book 2 Michigan State PE will remain exclusive to student-athletes attending the school.
