To go from being sued by Nike to now looked at as one of their best collaborators means you’re doing something right. Just ask Clint Ogbenna, better known as Clint 419, who founded the brand Corteiz in 2017. The Swoosh took the fledgling UK-based streetwear label to court in 2021 over confusion with the Cortez name, resulting in Clint having to pay $2,295 in damages. That fine was well worth it as just two years later Corteiz had its first official collab with Nike on the Air Max 95. Following multiple 95s and Air Trainer Huaraches, Corteiz and Clint will be tackling the Shox R4 silhouette in 2026.

Well, he’s actually working on a model called the Shox R419, likely just a renamed version of the standard Shox R4. Exactly what updates Clint has plans for is unknown at this time, but going off previous collabs we should expect a military-esque utilitarian upgrade. However, we do know there will be three different colorways, one in Metallic Silver, another in Black, and a third in Game Royal.

To go alongside the Shox sneakers, Corteiz and Nike will also launch an apparel collection that includes track jackets ($195), track pants ($155), an AeroLoft vest ($210), pro base layers ($160), jerseys ($110), and shorts ($65). Aside from the vest, each item comes in multiple colorways that correspond to the three sneakers.

The Y2K Shox technology has seen a major resurgence in the last half-decade. What was once looked at as something your grandpa or dad was rocking has become a fashion statement, with the like of Martine Rose bringing high-fashion flair to the model on multiple occasions and stars like Kendrick Lamar wearing Shox-laden models. Alongside these retro models, a new Shox sneaker hit shelves in 2025, that being the Shox Z.

The Corteiz x Nike Shox R419 Collection will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $180 each.
