The Fanatics Collect September Premier auction is shaping up to be a loaded hot box of one-of-a-kind rookie cards and iconic pieces from the past that have stood the test of time. The auction will include the most talked about rookie cards of the past several weeks, the one-of-one Topps Rookie Debut Patch Autographs cards of Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, and Kon Knueppel. Each card has been graded by PSA with Flagg - which was a saga worthy of a Netflix documentary (or YouTube short) someday - and Knueppel’s cards coming back with Gem Mint 10 grades, while Harper earned a Mint 9 grade.
When Will the Auction Begin?
The auction begins on September 10 at 7 PM Eastern Time. Any interested bidders will have to create a Fanatics ONE account. However, unlike your standard account where you can go on their platform to buy and sell cards, you will need to complete an application that includes a verification of income through Plaid. Not surprisingly, Fanatics can’t just have random kids trying to bid up these items with credit cards that don’t belong to them or NFTs that are a fraction of a decimal of a percentage of what they were worth in 2022.
What Cards are Featured in the Auction?

Along with the Flagg, Harper, and Knueppel Rookie Debut Patch cards, the Fanatics auction is filled with iconic rookie cards from the distant and recent past. Vintage baseball collectors will get a chance to own rookie cards and iconic pieces signed by Jackie Robinson, Babe Ruth, and Mickey Mantle. While these cards in better condition and unsigned might go for more money, the appeal of owning a signed version of these cards like they were a kid who just brought their card to the ballpark in the hopes of getting it signed during that era is priceless.
More modern cards with the bells and whistles of refractors, autographs, and pieces of fabric worn by the players are also a part of the auction. Tom Brady’s iconic Playoff Rookie Ticket Autograph card is a must-have for any football collector with deep pockets, as are the Bowman Chrome Orange Refractor Rookie autograph of Shohei Ohtani and the Upper Deck The Cup Rookie Patch Autograph of Sydney Crosby.
Rounding out the featured cards in the auction are a pair of one-of-one Topps Chrome Superfractors of two legendary pop culture figures, Mickey Mouse and LeBron James. When Topps Chrome Disney was first released in 2023 to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary, the chase was on for Mickey’s Superfractor, and it’s a tradition that has continued with every new Chrome drop, with this 2026 card being the latest example.
While Mickey might have a limited number of Superfractors at the moment, LeBron James actually has a healthy amount of Superfractors and Panini’s Gold Vinyl equivalent thanks to being prominently featured in basketball cards since 2003. Combine that with James no longer being on the Lakers and it might actually be the least desirable card in the auction. Never thought you’d hear that for a LeBron one-of-one, did you?
The Unofficial Power Ranking of the Cards in the Fanatics Auction

In the power rankings of cards auction I would love to own for my personal collection if money wasn’t an object and I would display them for people to be able to see at the local CardVault by Tom Brady spot and not parade around in a gaudy chain in a very “notice me, senpai” way. Here’s how it would go:
10. 2026 Topps Chrome Disney Superfractor Mickey Mouse #50 (graded 9 by BGS)
9. 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket Tom Brady (graded 8.5 by BGS)
8. 2025-06 Topps Chrome Update Minions Cooper Flagg (graded 10 by PSA)
