Paris Fashion Week has already come and gone, leaving piles of highly anticipated collections in its wake and sneaker fans waiting months for silhouettes that won’t drop for months. At the top of the Fashion Week preview list is Comme des Garçons. The Japanese fashion label started the year in rarified air with a look at an upcoming Air Jordan 11 collab and the debut of the New Balance P400 basketball shoe. Now, we’ve got another pack of CDG New Balance collabs on a new model, this time on the 1890A moccasin.
The Comme des Garçons x New Balance 1890A pack features the second and third colorways we’ve seen of the sporty moccasin silhouette, following a snakeskin pair shown at Paris Fashion Week last June. Beyond that, we’ve seen a runner version of the 1890 in two pairs of Action Bronson Baklava collabs, and know that there are tons of GR colorways of the standard version of the silhouette on the horizon. This time around, CDG mixes premium suede and leather across the entire moc upper, with an ABZORB-packed sole for supreme comfort.
On the brown pair, wheat brown suede covers the entire upper with sporty decorative accents on the toe and side panels. A matching strip of raised tan leather curves from the top of the lace panels around the toe in classic moccasin style. A white and olive green midsole sits just above a bright orange outsole to round it out. The black colorway is more about tone and texture, with black covering the entire shoe.
As of now, the Comme des Garçons x New Balance 1890A pack doesn’t have a release date or retail price, but with a spot in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2026 show, expect to see these pairs sometime in the second half of the year.
