If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll notice the uptick in Nike Air Force 1 Lows as of late. There’s the all-new ‘01 shape, which has made headlines thanks to Steven Victor’s large pack of colorways, and a slew of ComplexCon-exclusive collabs from the likes of Jae Tips, Badfriend, and LAAMS x Stash. Joining the all-white Forces with laser branding is LA streetwear label Circulate.
Circulate x Nike Air Force 1 Low Details
Corey Populus, founder of Circulate, has been hard at work for years getting his brand to the point it’s at today, and at NBA All-Star Weekend, he sat down with us to discuss what he was up to. While he has released apparel with The Swoosh in the past and has plans to drop more at ComplexCon, he mentioned that his dream Nike SB collab would be on the SB Dunk Low.
However, his first crack at a Nike collab will be on a pair of classic white-on-white AF1s. Like the other ComplexCon Air Force 1 collabs, Circulate’s pair keeps it simple, utilizing laser branding and added tongue logos to represent the brand. Circulate’s brand mark is lasered on the lateral heel, while its “Thinking Made Visual” logo replaces the Nike Air tag on the tongue. Aside from this, the rest of the shoe stays traditional, including the white leather paneling, metallic silver lace dubrae, and the white-on-white sole unit.
