LAAMS and Stash are Teaming Up with Nike to Drop 1 of 1 Customs in LA This Weekend

There’s a bit of New York City heading west this weekend. While the sneaker and streetwear worlds come together at ComplexCon in Los Angeles this weekend, NYC’s graffiti scene will be staking out a corner of the convention with the help of Nike.

A New Pair for the Stash

The LAAMS x Stash x Nike Air Force 1 drop is a sanctioned custom from some past Nike collaborators, bringing a past era of customization back with the help of a stencil and spray can. Seen in a preview posted by LAAMS on Instagram, the short video shows a classic white Air Force 1 taped off in LAAMS green, with a small cardboard stencil laid on top by Stash, and hits of blue spray paint added to the Swoosh.

The result is a hand-painted Air Force 1 with custom art from one of the sneaker industry’s favorite graffiti writers and a matching tag on the classic grey box. Earlier this week, we saw a white AF1 collab heading to ComplexCon from Badfriend, so it looks like Nike’s plan for the LA party will involve a run of brand takes on the classic triple-white Forces.
