Carpet Company doesn’t think inside the deck. The Baltimore-based skateboard brand is firmly rooted in the city’s skate culture, but when it comes to products and collabs, Carpet pushes far past the skatepark, taking notes from brands like Supreme and Palace, but with its own unique creative vision.
It Takes Two to Tango
The Carpet Company x Padmore & Barnes Boot Collection features two pairs of luxury steppers that have no place near griptape. Arriving in two glossy croc skin colorways: black and baby blue, the pairs traversed the globe ahead of their release, with a tagline noting “Designed in Ireland, made in Portugal, for Baltimore by Carpet Company.”
Both pairs feature silver embroidered C star logos on the lateral heels, a black Vibram boot sole, and black laces. On the baby blue colorway, a plush red lining completes the luxurious look, and on the black pair, pea green guts keep things subtle.
