Carpet Company has had a major year, and it’s not even summer yet. The Baltimore skate brand expanded its Maryland empire to a retail shop in Charm City’s Station North neighborhood to heavy fanfare, and now, Carpet is adding yet another sneaker collab to its resume, teaming up with the trail running icons at Salomon.

After previews of the Baltimore store opening earlier this month showed a quick sneak peek of what looked like a brick red collab colorway, speculation about a possible New Balance collab has now turned to Salomon. As they do, internet sleuths on Reddit tracked down a Malaysian Salomon page showing the upcoming Carpet Co. XT Whisper Void collab. Covered in brick red, the early-loaded and now-deleted pair features a dusty red base, black mesh accents, blue hits on the sockliner, and silver co-branding on the toe.
The Carpet Company x Salomon XT-Whisper doesn’t have a release date or retail price just yet, but expect more info soon. To keep up with all the latest Salomon collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
