While many have recovered from the whirlwind that is ComplexCon, plenty of brands and attendees from the LA event are prepping for the long flight across the Pacific for SURPLUS Sydney. The convention, much like ComplexCon, brings together a slew of creatives, brands, and fans in Sydney, Australia, to celebrate culture, fashion, art, food, and so much more. Last year, the event featured a collaboration between Carhartt’s streetwear-focused WIP brand and Nike, with 2026’s festivities also set to include a link-up between the two brands.
Carhartt WIP x Nike Teaser
In an Instagram post on October 14, Carhartt WIP and SURPLUS collaborated to present the world with a photo of a broken-down cardboard box featuring logos for Carhartt WIP, Nike, SURPLUS, and your universal symbols found on containers across the globe. The caption only features eyeball emojis, so we’re unsure exactly what the collab will contain, but based on last year’s project between Carhartt WIP and Nike, expect more clothing.
Both Carhartt WIP and the main Carhartt label have worked with Nike multiple times in the past, with WIP dropping its first sneaker collab with The Swoosh in 2018. This included four shoes: an AF1 Low, an AF1 Low Utility, an Air Max 95, and a Vandal Supreme High. For plain ol’ Carhartt, we’ve seen Jordan Brand link-up with Eminem and the workwear label on an ultra-limited AJ 4.

The latest Carhartt WIP x Nike collection will be released at SURPLUS in Sydney, Australia, which takes place October 16-18, 2026.
