Caitlin Clark Debuts her Nike Kobe 6 Protro Cookie Monster PE
Published
The Indiana Fever are holding steady in the WNBA standings, though all eyes have been on the star that is Caitlin Clark. Since entering the league last year, she’s become one of the league’s brightest stars and has continued to be a major part of Nike’s WNBA presence. While we’re all still waiting to get a look at her upcoming signature sneaker, Clark took the court over the weekend wearing a Cookie Monster-inspired player exclusive colorway of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro.
If you haven’t been following Caitlin’s insane Nike Kobes, she’s been lacing up special colorways of Kobe Bryant’s signature sneaker line throughout her WNBA career. Her first PE was spotted in July 2024 with an Indiana Fever Kobe 5, followed by the Green Mamba Kobe 6, another Kobe 5 Indiana Fever (which released last month), a Rookie of the Year Kobe 5, the Light Armory Blue Kobe 6, and the Bella Kobe 6 inspired by her dog. This latest entry in her player-exclusive series takes direct inspiration from the iconic Sesame Street character Cookie Monster.

The blue Muppet’s color is applied to the faux reptile skin and TPU upper, with a darker navy blue contrasting on the painted Swoosh on the midfoot. Fuzzy laces play into Cookie Monster’s furry appearance, while the tongue tag and Kobe sheath logo come in tan and chocolate, mimicking a chocolate chip cookie. Finishing the design is the TPU heel counter in a tonal blue and a matching blue midsole and outsole.
Unfortunately, Caitlin Clark’s Nike Kobe 6 Protro Cookie Monster PE will not be released to the public. Check below for detailed images of the pair, and download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
