Brooklyn Projects Replicated Scott Ian’s Pair of Athrax x adidas Conductor On This Archive Collab

At the intersection of sneakers, hip-hop, and metal, one man claims the throne: Brooklyn Projects owner and former Headbanger’s Ball VJ Dom DeLuca. And for BP’s latest collab with adidas and Anthrax, Dom is embracing his cultural historian side, resurrecting the first sneaker collab in metal history, the adidas x Anthrax Conductor.

Reviving the shoe for the first time in 40 years, Brooklyn Projects spent an entire year tracking down Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian’s personal pair from a collector to remake it in all of its original glory. The prequel to the adidas Ewing, the Anthrax Conductor is a white leather high top with deep blue accents throughout and a hit of red on the tongue.

“adidas gave us the opportunity to resurrect this classic model from the archives with the exact molds, materials and colors from the past,” Brooklyn Projects wrote on Instagram. “Due to the craftsmanship and material … we only could make 100 of these … so this is extremely limited to say the least.”
