Before Dom DeLuca, aka Brooklyn Dom, was a purveyor of skateboards and streetwear at LA’s longstanding Brooklyn Projects skate shop, the NYC native was an MTV VJ and host of the metal music video show, Headbanger’s Ball. Dom’s lived a few lives since, but his ties to the music industry run deep, and for Brooklyn Projects’ latest sneaker collab, the shop tapped adidas Skateboarding and legendary band Anthrax for a triple-collab called Three the Hard Way.

The Brooklyn Projects x Anthrax x adidas Superstar ADV was first previewed late last year, but in the months since, Dom has been quiet about the upcoming co-branded Superstar. Now, BP is ready to roll out the story of the triple-collab colorway, along with an early raffle giving away 50 pairs to shop locals. If the name Anthrax is unfamiliar, the easiest place to start is the band’s iconic collaboration with Public Enemy from 1991.
