LA Skate Shop Brooklyn Projects Previews an adidas Superstar for 2026

Dom DeLuca and the team at Brooklyn Projects have been holding down the LA skate scene for decades. Since 2002, BP has been blending skateboarding and streetwear for a complete retail experience that has kept them in business for more than two decades. It doesn’t hurt that they have a mini ramp in the backyard.

The latest collaboration from Brooklyn Projects is a twist on the classic adidas Superstar, using tough Cordura fabric for a reinforced rip-stop texture mixed with weathered black and yellow accents. DeLuca posted a quick preview photo of the shoe on Instagram over the weekend with the caption “2026 is going to be a movie / / /,” but the photo only shows the back of the shoe, so much is still left to the imagination.

From what we can see, the shoe starts with a Cordura rip-stop style fabric pattern across the upper and Three Stripes in black leather that is frayed white. The heel panel is done in the same weathered style with a BP logo in yellow that matches the yellow laces. The sock liner looks like it is done in black leather, but that’s all we’ve got for now.

So far, the 2026 date mentioned in DeLuca’s caption is the only hint at a release date we have, and no retail price is available quite yet.
