Brain Dead’s partnership with adidas recently began, starting their relationship with an ultra-limited Bowling Shoe sold exclusively through Brain Dead’s website. This collaboration was quickly followed by an exclusive Stan Smith inspired by Wimbledon, which was available at Dover Street Market London and a tennis court in London. Now, Brain Dead is set to release another iteration of the Stan Smith, this time in collaboration with Sound and Fury Fest, exclusively in Los Angeles.
The latest Brain Dead adidas Stan Smith features an unstructured upper crafted from unlined supple cow leather, offering a more flexible and comfortable fit. The sneaker is predominantly black, with a black and white fuzzy suede finish on the heel tab and raw white textile on the edges of the black lace set. Brain Dead's distinctive logo is perforated into the midfoot, adding a subtle yet stylish touch. Additional co-branding for adidas, Sound and Fury Fest, and Brain Dead can be found on the tongue and insole. The heel tab also features Sound and Fury Fest branding, tying the collaboration together. Underfoot sits a black midsole with white stitching paired with a black outsole.
The Brain Dead x Sound and Fury Fest x adidas Stan Smith will release on July 9, 2024, exclusively via Brain Dead's Fairfax location at 12:00 PM PT. According to the post, every sneaker purchase will come with a free entry to Sound and Fury 2024. As of this writing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
