A Bathing Ape and adidas have been working together for decades now, and every single time a new drop gets announced, we still get pretty excited. The same can definitely be said about the upcoming BAPE x adidas Campus 80s "Collegiate Navy." First released in the '70s, the Campus silhouette has been getting more and more popular over the past few weeks thanks to collaborators such as Bad Bunny, Jeremy Scott, Kith, and Pop Trading, so you can just imagine how hyped we are for this launch.
Covered in a collegiate navy suede outfit, BAPE's iconic shooting star motif glides through the sidewalls in a crisp cloud white leather. Gold foil branding can be found throughout the Campus, and this is complemented by a metallic dubrae that totally blings up the lacing system. Along the tongue, we see a stamped "30" logo, commemorating A Bathing Ape's 30th birthday in 2023. Underfoot, a subtle texture has been applied to the rubber midsole, and it's dipped in a creamy hue for a seriously vintage vibe. All of this comes packed in a special co-branded shoebox that has been made for all the Nigo fans out there.
The BAPE x adidas Campus 80s Collegiate Navy is set to release on April 1st, 2023 in men's sizes for $150.
