Bad Bunny has been on vacation. The Puerto Rican superstar spent the first quarter of the year dominating the pop culture landscape, hot off his latest album and global tour, Benito hosted a residency at home in PR before crossing the Atlantic to join the Super Bowl festivities with a halftime show for the ages. Oh yeah, he also dropped his first signature shoe with adidas.

The BadBo 1.0 Gets Swept Up in the Waves

Now, after ducking out of the limelight for a couple of months, Bad Bunny’s BadBo 1.0 is back, with a new set of images showing off a multi-tonal blue colorway that looks like it washed up on the shore at Luquillo beach. Constructed of leather, suede, and nubuck, the colorway packs the upper with blue and adds a sandy tan midsole underneath.

Starting on the toebox, the darkest shade of blue gets a soft nubuck material that spreads to the bottom of the side panels and the heel structure. The side panel layers an ocean blue shade in rough shaggy suede, while a seafoam teal color is added in leather to the perforated base paneling. Finally, a fourth blue blends into the lace panel and sockliner in a slightly paler shade.
