Nike is Giving Away a Laser-Etched atmos Air Force 1 '01 Collab at atmoscon in Tokyo

The sneaker and streetwear worlds are converging on Tokyo this weekend, where there will be more treats than tricks at atmoscon, the two-day convention from iconic Japanese sneaker boutique atmos. After previewing collabs at the convention from New Balance, Saucony, Birkenstock, Jordan, and more, the latest teaser adds another pair to Nike’s hyped Air Force 1 ‘01 revival.

Mapping Your Way to atmoscon

If you’re going to stand in line in a packed convention center all day, it would be nice if the brands at the end of the line would give you something back in return, and this weekend, Nike is showing out for at least some atmoscon attendees. Previewed like most atmos collabs are, in an Instagram post from the shop’s Creative Director, Koji, the Harajuku map Air Force 1 ‘01 colorway won’t be for sale at atmoscon, but it will be available to win in some sort of contest held at the Nike booth akin to the array of white-on-white Forces from ComplexCon.

Starting with a classic triple-white Air Force 1 ‘01 base, the atmos collab continues Nike’s recent laser-etched revival, adding an engraved map of the Harajuku neighborhood on the toe and heel panels. We’re still not sure what it will take to win a pair from Nike at atmoscon, but we’re certain the line will be extra-long for a chance to try.
