Legendary Japanese sneaker boutique atmos spent years as one of the global leaders in hyped sneakers, with retail outlets in New York City and Philadelphia keeping the shop connected to the stateside market. These days, though, atmos has consolidated its efforts in Japan, and after shuttering its US stores, the boutique has hit hyperdrive, with a constant flow of collabs and now its own convention, atmoscon.

We’ve seen a heavy set of atmoscon collab previews over the past month or so, including a flamingo-inspired pair of Sauconys and a yin-yang colorway of the New Balance 2000, a Gel-Kayano 12.1, and another addition to the shop’s ongoing G-SNK adidas ZX collab. Now, atmos is expanding its collab rolodex with some help from Birkenstock.
