Japan’s leading sneaker boutique is ready to party like it’s 1999. Continuing a long run of glow-in-the-dark snakeskin adidas collabs, atmos is adding yet another tribute to the 1999 classic ZX 8000 Chlorophyll colorway with green snakeskin and glowing panels updating the OG.
Snake in the Grass
The atmos x adidas ZX 8000 G-SNK Chlorophyll was posted to Instagram by the brand’s creative director, Koji, just like the rest of atmos’ early previewed sneaker collabs. In his post, Koji added “Welcome back.” in the caption as a clear shoutout to the OG Chlorophyll ZX 8000 colorway.

You may be familiar with the 2020 atmos x adidas ZX 8000 G-SNK 3, which is nearly identical to the pair here. However, that version added fur to the base, and this new take keeps it much closer to the OG with mesh.
