The adidas Adizero Evo SL has been one of the best-received running models to date. Not only has it attracted the runners of the world, but it’s become a canvas for some of the biggest brand collaborations as well. Earlier this year, A Bathing Ape remixed the bouncy runner with its signature camo print, Thai sneaker boutique Carnival button mashed back to the past with its video game-inspired collab, and Naked Copenhagen is giving the zip-up version a remix in the coming days.
Now, another famed Japanese streetwear brand and boutique is giving its own unique animal-themed remix to the silhouette. Creative director of atmos, Hirofumi Kojima, took to his Instagram to reveal atmos’ takes on the model in black and white colorways.
atmos x adidas Adizero Evo SL G-SNK Pack Details
Atmos and adidas are bringing an animal quality to the Evo SL with their staple G-SNK colorway making its way to the popular silhouette. Since 2011, atmos and adidas have been pairing up with the signature pattern that pairs snakeskin with a glow-in-the-dark aesthetic, with the pattern often showing up on the classic adidas Superstar.
For this foray into a different model, it looks like the mesh base features twinkling details in the upper, while the oversized Three Stripes that stretch from the lateral mesh side wall onto the Lightstrike Pro midsole get a glowing snakeskin texture. Both colorways look to be anchored by midsoles that match their respective uppers, but it appears the black colorway features a hint of white underfoot on the outsole.
