With the WNBA continuing to expand, we’ve been getting used to more and more WNBA athletes showcasing player-exclusive versions of Nike Basketball sneakers. This past WNBA All-Star Weekend was a perfect example of this, as dozens of different high-heat sneakers were found across Indianapolis’ events. Now that the season is back in full swing, Nike has given Arike Ogunbowale her own colorway of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE.

Unlike Arike’s orange-shaded Nike GT Cut 2 PE from 2023, this Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE opts for a mixture of metallic silver and pink on most of its upper. Pops of light pink are found on the toebox, midfoot panel, and atop the tongue, while the fused overlays along the toe and eyelets come in metallic silver.

Contrasting this two-tone look is a copper-shaded Swoosh on the heel, outlined in black. Final details on the upper include grey details on the lace set, tongue, collar, sockliner, and heel tab. Down below sits a tonal pink foam midsole with Zoom Air cushioning and a tonal rubber outsole.

Arike Ogunbowale’s Nike Kobe 5 Protro Metallic Silver Pink PE has no confirmed release information at this time, and it’s expected to remain a player exclusive.
