Streetwear started with roots in skateboarding, hip-hop, punk, and basketball, but as sneaker culture turned into a global phenomenon, clothing brands evolved. Now, golf, tennis, running, and martial arts inspirations are driving a new culturally specific clothing industry with gear for any activity that drives you (and your wallet).
Kicking Up a New Collab
Albino and Preto make gear like kimonos and gis for jiu jitsu and karate, along with MMA gear, classic workout wear, and plenty of off-mat collections to match. The brand is no stranger to the sneaker collab, with partnerships on a Saucony Shadow 5000 and a Nike SB Dunk Low a few years back. Now, A&P is joining the Asics obsession, teaming up with Japanese retail legends atmos for two pairs of Gel-Kayano 12.1.

Two color schemes are visible, though we’re unsure if this means there are two pairs or if the collab features split colors between the two shoes. On one colorway, the base of the shoe is pitch black, and on the other, the base is crispy white and metallic silver. Both pairs add neon green to the branding, accent details, and back half of a gradient midsole.
