Jordan Brand flips the script on a classic AJ 7 colorway.
With 2022 marking the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 7, Jordan Brand has been celebrating this milestone with new colorways of the classic silhouette. In fact, every AJ 7 set to release in 2022 outside of the original “Cardinal” pair is new. Along with the OGs mentioned, another familiar Air Jordan 7 Retro is set to drop this holiday season.
Taking design cues from the original “Bordeaux” colorway, this Air Jordan 7 Retro SE features the same colorblocking with the only major differences being the colors used. Instead of black and light graphite, the upper is composed of black and neutral olive. Cherrywood Red a la the Air Jordan 16 replaces the traditional “Bordeaux” accents, while greens and golds are swapped out for chutney and taxi.
The Air Jordan 7 Retro SE Black Olive is set to release on December 17th, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $210. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
