Don’t call it a comeback. At last, Jordan is headed to the wine cellar to pop the cork on a good vintage as the extremely limited premium Jordan Bin23 series is confirmed to make a return just in time for NBA All-Star Weekend with the Air Jordan 6. The original Bin23 from 2010-2011 highlighted a handful of Air Jordan models with premium details. The lineup featured the Air Jordan 2, Jordan 5, Jordan 7, Jordan 9, and Jordan 13 all stamped with a wax seal on the heel, premium materials, and ultra-limited production numbers.

Of course, Jordan Brand is kicking off the line’s return on a high note, and what better way to start than with the sneaker His Airness earned his first championship in, the Air Jordan 6. For this premium take on the AJ 6, Jordan leaned heavily into the sneaker’s original inspiration of sports cars to take the theme to new heights.

In order to properly channel the energy of MJ’s fleet of fast cars, the padding on the collar has been removed, making the silhouette sleeker than ever. It’s not a luxury whip without the high-quality construction, and this rendition of the Air Jordan 6 comes packed with an assortment of deluxe materials.

Starting at the base, the underlays are comprised of nubuck with perforations throughout, echoing the feel of a luxury vehicle. Atop that nubuck construction are leather overlays that also wrap the midsole of the sneaker. The car imagery is also enhanced with the use of color.

The pop of red at the midfoot is meant to emulate the buckle of a seatbelt, and the red stitching on the spoiler is meant to mimic brake lights, but the use of negative space inside of said brake light evokes a car blazing down an open lane, not one halted by traffic. A nubuck lace shroud with an embossed Jordan logo and a chrome lace toggle completes the look, because what’s a whip if it ain’t ridin’ chrome? The insoles even get an aerodynamic makeover with perforations taking over the tan inserts. And to top it off, the fine-wine-inspired Bin23 logo on the heel seals the deal.

Jordan is pulling no punches on the presentation, with the dustbags and wooden shoe trees also making a return. Plus, Jordan Brand is bringing back retro cards, telling the story of MJ’s need for speed and the story of Bin23 adds to the overall storytelling.

The Air Jordan 6 PRM Bin23 is set to be extremely limited, with only 2,300 pairs available. With the release coming at the height of All-Star Weekend in February 2026, how exactly the sneaker will be released has yet to be revealed. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $355. For the latest Jordan news, download the Sole Retriever app.
