Jordan Brand’s web of celebrity friends and family goes far beyond the basketball court and football field. From musicians and artists to BMX riders and actors, the Jumpman family tree has branches in every direction. For the release of the Air Jordan 6 Infrared Salesman, the brand brought in actress Niecy Nash to reprise a Jordan Genie role from the OG 1991 Jordan 6 commercial starring Little Richard.
In the first poster for the Valentine’s Day release, Nash, best known for her work in Reno 911, Claws, and more, is wearing all black with her arms crossed, creating the retro Jordan 6 out of a puff of smoke. Built with meticulous detail to replicate the original 1991 and 2000 versions of the infrared color, the new release is constructed to Michael Jordan’s in-game specifications, with a return to the original 1991 shape, a reshaped inner bootie, and a 2MM raise on the tongue height.
Taking after the sample pairs made for Jordan, the Salesman pair is equipped with sample tags, a sample logo stamped in the dsockliner, and a brown sample box. Jordan Brand has been stacking the Valentine’s-themed releases, but this is going to be the toughest pair to grab on Cupid’s holiday. Whether a lineup is worth the angry spouse…well, that’s for you to decide.
The Air Jordan 6 Infrared Salesman will be released February 14, 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $215 for adults. For all the latest Jordan release news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
