It's been a very floral spring in the sneaker industry, and as we get into the summer heat, the shoe game is following suit, keeping the flowers blooming no matter how high the temperatures get. One of the best floral collections of the bunch, Jordan Brand’s bouquet of Birds of Paradise, is next up at the florist.
Paradise is Where the Flowers Are
The Air Jordan 4 Retro Birds of Paradise (W) and a matching Jordan Heir Series 2 are both designed with the namesake plant in mind, combining soft shades of peach and bright, vibrant orange and peach accents. After getting a look at the colorway in some leaked photos in May, we’ve now got an official image set straight from Beaverton.

Starting with a mix of Coconut Milk suede and leather on the upper paneling, the shoe adds peach on the webbed vamp and side panels, with translucent lace wings and more peachy white on the laces and back half of the midsole. The color joins on the front part of the midsole, with bright see-through orange at the toe giving way to a light pink in the middle.
