Putting on the same college jersey as Michael Jordan has its privileges. At UNC, the men’s basketball team is defined by its winning legacy and history as the college home to the greatest ever to play the game. The association with Jordan has also meant that the team is always lacing up new player exclusive retros. As the college basketball season gets into full swing, the Tar Heels showed off a new after-practice gift from Jumpman, a new pair of PE Jordan 10s in team colors.

There’s a large Jumpman logo on the medial side panel and a blue Tar Heel foot logo embroidered on the ankle.
From the NBA to the college ranks, this season has seen a heavyweight mix of PEs from Nike, Jordan, and more. On the Nike side, the Swoosh has brought out Kobe 5 Protro PEs for Duke, USC, and Kentucky, plus Ja 3s, A’Ones, and a recent LeBron 23 for MSU. For Jordan, the Duke 10 follows a recent Oregon exclusive 10 with signatures from Phil Knight and Tinker Hatfield, plus Jordan 40s and Tatum 4s.
Unless you play for the Tar Heels, you won’t be able to cop this pair, so don’t even think about it. Still, there will be plenty of Jordan retros coming in the next few months, so you can still grab a few consolation prizes.
