For Teddy Santis, his day job at Aime Leon Dore has helped craft the current era of New York fashion and retail, right down to the brand’s always-packed Soho coffee shop. At his secondary gig, Santis is working with New Balance on its Made in USA program, curating endless mixes of perfectly matched suede and mesh. Every season, Santis mixes and matches his brand duties, bringing New Balance silhouettes into the ALD line.
For Spring/Summer ‘26, ALD is back with two more colorways of the modern retro runner RC56, this time in bright orange and a clean white and grey mix. Both colorways feature ALD branding on the tongue and insoles, with racing stripes down the center of the shoe and flower graphics on the heel tab.
The orange colorway is a bright monochrome splash with silver accents popping off the lace loops, tongue branding, and heel tab. The white-and-silver colorway is a classic New Balance blend of mesh and synthetic, with pristine white covering the mesh and reflective grey on the accent panels and branding. Santis has been working his magic on the RC56 for the past year, featuring collections of the new model, designed by ALD and NB together, for ALD’s Spring/Summer ‘25, Fall/Winter ‘25, and now, Spring/Summer ‘26.
The Aime Leon Dore x New Balance RC56 Spring/Summer ‘26 collection was released today, February 18, 2026 through Aime Leon Dore early access online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $165 for each pair. Expect a public release either this Friday or sometime in the coming weeks.
