Because you can never have too much camo.
If you ask any sneakerhead what the most iconic silhouette of all-time is, there's a massive possibility that they'd bring up the adidas Superstar. Originally released in the late '60s as a basketball shoe, the model has since made it ways to a variety of different fashion trends and subcultures while still maintaining its iconic design. After checking out the "Core Black" and "Cozy" earlier this season, the vintage sneaker has now been deployed in the form of the adidas Superstar Camo "White Grey" - and here's what we know so far.
If you didn't know any better, you could easily assume that this was made in collaboration with A Bathing Ape. Featuring a crisp white leather construction, the legendary Shelltoe features upfront for that world-renowned Superstar look. Luxe gold foil branding can be found across the tongue and sides, while the namesake camouflage patterns hit the serrated Three Stripes along the laterals and medials as well as the heel badge around the back. All of this sits on top of a clean rubber midsole that has been engineered for everyday wear, and it's finished off with a glossy black dubrae that's decorated with a single Trefoil right in the center, finalizing the militaristic aesthetic.
Scheduled to release sometime in 2023, the adidas Superstar Camo White Grey will be available in men's sizes via adidas, the CONFIRMED app, and select retailers online and in physical locations with a retail price yet TBA.
