An inaugural release took place in December 2023, with multiple footwear drops since then, the latest on April 3. On this day, we’ll see the ‘86 Hi debut and the Los Angeles Runner in Pale Yellow, with another pair coming exclusive to Fear of God, the Fear of God 1 Clay Miami Green. Alongside the Clay Miami Green colorway, another Hurricanes-themed Fear of God 1 will launch with an Indiana pair coming as well.
This latest iteration of the Fear of God 1 harnesses the aesthetic foundations laid by its predecessors, maintaining the innovative textile and seamless construction that have become hallmarks of the series. What sets the Clay Miami Green apart is its vibrant green TPU overlay on the toe, a nod to the University of Miami's iconic hues, adding a fresh pop of color to the otherwise clay-toned silhouette. In line with Fear of God's ethos, the sneaker blends technical innovation with Lorenzo's signature stylistic approach.
The midfoot's TPU overlays serve dual purposes—providing structural integrity and showcasing adidas' iconic Three Stripes, inspired by the design of the brand's legendary Predator soccer cleats. This fusion of aesthetics and function is further complemented by a Lightstrike midsole, encased in a sleek white rubber shell that extends to the outsole, adorned with Fear of God branding at the heel.
