As we move into 2024, the collaboration is set to take an intriguing turn with the introduction of the adidas Fear of God Athletics 1 Indiana University, a nod to the storied NCAA program and its rich athletic tradition. Alongside this pair, a Miami Hurricanes colorway has also been created.
This special edition of the FOG Athletics 1 embodies the spirit of Indiana University's athletic prowess. The design retains the signature aesthetic of the Fear of God Athletics 1 silhouette, with a predominantly black upper that serves as a canvas for the vibrant red overlay at the toe, symbolizing the university's iconic color. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that the sneaker stands out while paying homage to Indiana University's legacy. The rest of the sneaker remains faithful to the original design, featuring engineered mesh, seamless TPU overlays, and a comfortable neoprene bootie. The sole unit is equipped with adidas' innovative Lightstrike cushioning technology, finished in a subtle cream shade that complements the overall design.
The adidas Fear of God Athletics 1 Indiana University was originally slated to release on February 23, 2024, but will now release on April 4 exclusively through Fear of God's website.
