The Cleveland Cavaliers are clicking at the right time. After years of disappointment in the wake of LeBron’s final departure from The ‘Land, adidas teammates Donovan Mitchell and mid-season addition James Harden have a legit shot in the Eastern Conference this season. Now, after a dominant game one win in the Cavs’ first-round series against Toronto, a first look at Donovan Mitchell’s next adidas signature silhouette, the DON Issue 8, has appeared.

Mitchell’s spider logo is added to the top of the tongues, and adidas logos are featured on the heel. The debut colorway features a sunset gradient across the upper that mixes orange and green with light sky blue at the toe and outsole. Black is added to the tongue and the border of the stabilizing panels for a bit of contrast.
The adidas DON Issue 8 doesn’t have a release date or retail price just yet, but with the Cavs currently on the national stage, don’t be surprised to see them make an on-foot debut soon. To keep up with the latest Donovan Mitchell adidas news, download the Sole Retriever App.
