The adidas Lunar New Year Track Jacket is Finally Dropping Stateside

If there’s one thing adidas knows how to do, it’s make a tracksuit. The Three Stripes has been working hard to revive the Superstar this year, but in addition to the classic shell toe, the German sportswear giant might be best known for its long-ubiquitous matching track jackets and pants with stripes to match their shoes running down the sides and sleeves.

After going viral last year when they were announced as part of adidas’ overseas exclusive Lunar New Year collection, the brand’s limited toggle-closure track jackets are finally making it to the US for a spring drop.

Starting with a classic adidas track jacket construction, the Lunar New Year edition reimagines the front of the jacket with inspiration from traditional Chinese garments, adding decorative toggle closures behind the standard zipper front. The stateside release will feature four colors of the jacket, olive green, maroon, light blue, and dark grey.
