The adidas Adimule Superstar is a Slip-On Concha

This one really puts the shell in shell toe. As adidas continues to push its iconic Superstar in as many avenues as possible, the shoe Run DMC made famous is taking a new turn, leaving the back behind, accentuating the toe, and lining the edges of the suede upper in silver studs.

The adidas Adimule Superstar is the latest silhouette to hit The Three Stripes’ overseas catalog, and we’ve already got our fingers crossed that this one eventually makes it stateside. The latest classic silhouette converted into a slip-on, the Adimule Superstar is all about the enlarged shell toe that adds a cartoonish, fun energy to the model. So far, we’ve seen two leather-clad versions and the aforementioned suede pair with studded details.

Slip-On Summer

If the sneaker loafer hybrid was the trend of the fall and winter, then the cut-off mule is definitely the new wave for the summer. In addition to the Superstars, adidas recently chopped the back off the Samba, while Nike’s latest Kids of Immigrants collab does the same for the Total 90, and the Gel-1130 Mule matches the energy from Asics.
