Travis Scott is back with his latest collaboration with the Swoosh. This time around Cactus Jack applies his signature touch to the classic Nike Air Max 1. Nicknamed the “Baroque Brown” edition, this pair is set to drop alongside the “Saturn Gold” pair in mid-December of 2021 after an exclusive Astroworld release.
A part of the CACT.US CORP Utopian Goods and Services Collection, these Air Max 1s come in a baroque brown, lemon drop, wheat and Chile red colorway. Designed for Utopian’s everywhere, this pair draws inspiration from the Nike ACG Pocket Knife. Sporting a drawstring Gillie lacing system and custom nubuck and mesh-patterned overlays on the upper which tie back to the ‘90s classic All Conditions Gear classic.
In addition, this Nike Air Max 1 features a rubberized Cactus Jack tongue logo and a custom CACT.US CORP outsole. The lateral side displays Travis Scott’s unmistakable reverse Swoosh while the medial side stays true to its OG AM1 roots. Red rope laces and custom branded insoles finish this pair off.
The Cactus Jack x Nike Air Max 1 TS “Baroque Brown” was originally set to be released on December 16th, 2021. However, due to the unfortunate events that happened at Astroworld 2021, Nike has postponed their release. At this time no make up date has been announced. When is does launch, it will be available via Nike & select stores for a retail price of $160 in extended men’s sizing as well as preschool and toddler. They will come in special packaging as well.
