The Nike Air Max 1 Amsterdam was a part of the 2020 “City Pack.” Inspired by the famous city in the Netherlands, this pair comes in a red bark, khaki, terra blush and dusty peach colorway. Featuring an upper made up of premium materials such as: suede, tumbled leather and corduroy. Details include the coat of arms, represented by three “X’s,” appearing on the tongue tag on the right shoe as well as on the left toe cap. An embroidered map-like design is found wrapping around the “Nike Air” branding on tha back heels, which is a nod to Amsterdam’s iconic canals.
The Nike Air Max 1 made its debut in 1987. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, it was the first sneaker to feature a visible Air unit.
